A minor earthquake occurred at 17:35:51 (UTC) on Tuesday, October 7, 2003. The magnitude 3.9 event has been located in the SAN DIEGO COUNTY URBAN AREA, CALIFORNIA. The hypocentral depth was estimated to be 16 km (10 miles). (This event has been reviewed by a seismologist.)
