-- that Elizabeth Edwards had posted here. As i said earlier, I guess I need to wake up and put on a pot of coffee.

Anyway, I liked the expression on John's face during that speech, but even more, I liked the look on his parents' face. I had the notion that he and Elizabeth have the same bedrock pride in their own children as their parents probably have in them. It seemed so palpable, as if it was vibrating out of the tv screen that night.

And let me tell you: it stopped me in my tracks. I like Bill Moyers' range and I like Julian Bond's perspective and I like Alexis Herman's charisma and fire. But the people I think should be nominated for the White House residents next time are John and Elizabeth Edwards.
