It just enhanced the necessary cynicism we all had to pick up in law school. You got there already well-equipped, I suspect.

I had been a social worker. I had my credentials, too.

Remember the old joke about the lawyer driving through the country with his (non-lawyer) friend?

The non-lawyer says, "Hey, look at all those brown cows over there!"

The lawyer answers, "Well, they're brown on this side, anyway."
