They say that Asmodeus, the King of the demons was exocrised by the odor when a fish heart and liver were burned on embers. I think that all the other demons abandoned Scandinavia, once lutfisk or surstromming kegs were opened for the first time. And they aint been back since, other than for brief assassination missions.
