This punk style son first surfaced a couple of weeks shy of 39 years ago. The guy doing the Liar Liar... verses had this evil sassy childlike falsetto and right before a short instrumental part of the song he lets out this blood curdling scream.

The Castaways I think was a Minnesota garage band. I heard the son for the first time in a while and it still sounds very cool. Blondie did a version of the song but it was much tamer than the original.

I will be thinking of this song a lot in the coming weeks every time bushco opens up their unscrupulous mouths.
