I got a little better than mediocre, then stopped pushing to get better. Didn't have the patience to practice, practice, practice.

Played in different bands in Chciago and Milwaukee up until the early 90's. Metal, 50's, 60's, new wave, 80's power pop. punk, rock, blues, etc. Last few bands were all originals.

Had some fun, played some nice clubs and theatres, played some dives, never made any money, drank tons, did too many drugs, got laid quite a bit, gave it up for sanity, sobriety, love and marriage, never regretted anything.

Still got my '79 Les Paul Black Beauty Custom, and fond memories of leather pants and long hair and all the uppers and downers that went along with it. Even still have some friends I made back then in the scene.

Used to pick up and play once in a while, but not recently.
