I can be pompous and overassured without any help! LOL!

i've been a Beck fan since the late 60's. So nyah, nyah, nyah! I was also a big fan of early Mark Knopfler. Not exactly shredding, that.

I just don't like pretend Blues players. It leaves me cold.

Hendrix i'll give you! I thought he was too sloppy. Suck is strong word, but i'm not a avid listener of his. His influence is undeniable, though.

I am a great fan of guys like Belew, Fripp, Gabrels, et al. That ain't shreddin' either.

Lastly, i love Tal Farlow and Jim Hall. So, i like the shredders, i play that way myself, but i also know good when i hear it. It's a preference, not a brick wall.

So there, ya big meanie!
