Of course the location of "The" Crossroads is speculative, but Abe's is a little old place that's been there since Robert Johnson's time and they have the sheepish distinction, they claim, of being the place where he ate BBQ, handed out the back door. The BBQ is good, but the story and their embarrassment and pride hand in hand are priceless.

If you've never been to Clarksdale, go. I try to go down every couple of years because the festivals kick major ass. Those old blues men are dying out fast, though.
