Here in Maryland.

LA had such a huge influx of recent Asian immigrants that the food was very cheap, delicious, and not full of sugar and oil like the Americanized versions of these foods that predominate in this region. At much higher prices, too.

I have a couple of good Thai restaurants locally, but not the vast sea of choices I had out there.

and I've been to Hard Times many times, by the way.
