16. Dunno yet...
I'm still spoiled by the old pieplates-glued-on-the-wall Tardis and them having to "make do" with writing and acting 'cause they couldn't afford decent effects. Or costumes-- I loved the plant pot helmets.

The effects didn't gross me out as much as I was afraid they might, and I like the characters, but the opening two plots were derivative, hackneyed, and, well, just plain annoying. The second much more so than the first, which did have its moments. Seen it all before, and better. The second one did seem to try to dazzle us with effects after they ran out of plot gimmicks. Wotta waste of a perfectly good SF cliche that could have gotten much better treatment.

I like this Time Lord and Lady, and hope they get the writing together later on, although some of you already know about that. I also want to see a damn good backstory if this Doctor is to be the last of his kind.

Oh, and did they forget about those regenerations the Doctor used to have?
