And, you know why you wanted it so just enjoy it. Kitchen gadgets don't always live up to expectations but sometimes they do. I ordered my first Cuisinart about 15 years ago and used it every single day for a couple years. Now I use it for holiday dinner prep and the occasional shredding or slicing job but if the house burned down I'd still think of it as a counter necessity.

While it isn't the ideal vessel for kneading dough I often preferred it to my KitchenAid mixer because it took far less time. Okay, so once I had to send the whole darned thing back to the manufacturer because the dough formed a paste that wouldn't allow me to get the dough blade out of the machine, but one lives and learns and it never happened again. So, make some dough while its still under warranty and you still have all that pesky paperwork about where to send it for repairs.
