I discovered that if you want to cross the state line, you must have a photo I.D. not just for the driver but for every other person and child in your car as well. If you do not, you and they are in violation of the law. It was frightening to see some junior league kids lining up at this police station so they would be photographed, just to cross into Georgia.

Driving is not a right, and any person driving should have a photo I.D. just to prove they are licensed to drive. But forcing passengers to carry a photo I.D. is unconstitutional and obstruction of justice. No state has the authority to stop individuals moving from state to state without the consent of Congress. The 14th amendment states that "no state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberity, or property, without due process of law..."

Has anyone else experienced these violations of the constitution when crossing state lines?
