25. Life is contextual
This cannot be avoided try as you might. Dean was not in the Senate.
An anti-war resolution was not under discussion.

Given 2 options IWR or Biden-Lugar, which do you prefer Dr. Dean?

Biden-Lugar was the most restrictive and anti-war proposition under consideration.

I opposed the war absolutely, but in context, wish the Biden-Lugar ammendment won. My true preference, could I have had it, would have been for Sen. Kerry and Edwards to team up with Sens. Graham and Byrd and filibuster the whole damn thing to death. The option was not exercised or even in play.

I supported disamring Saddam peacefully. I also support disarming Bush* peacefully.

Life is contextual, you are not always offered the choice you prefer the most.
