Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean said Tuesday that Southerners must stop basing their votes on "race, guns, God and gays" and forge a multiracial coalition that focuses next year's presidential election on jobs, health care and a foreign policy reflecting American values.

And Edwards' 'We don't need someone like you coming down here and telling us what to do.'

Yeah, Dean gets the South. Lead balloon.

On another note, Dean's forearms are actually pretty wimpy, especially considering he's a chunky guy. What's up with Matthews going ga-ga over those little toothpicks?
