Got banned from DU

Posted on 12/08/2005 11:58:48 AM PST by commonerX

I like to discuss topics with anyone, whether they are Democrats or Republicans. I dont really consider myself a Liberal or Conservative, but somewhere in between. So I subscribed to DU to discuss things with them as well. You need to know all aspect of different people in order to really grasp our society and the way it works. I entered a discussion forum about the National sales tax on DU. I disagreed with much of what they were saying and made my points both positive and negative. They are mostly against the idea by the way, but thought I could clear some of their miss-information that many where saying. I got banned, I guess for not toting the line. I will give this forum credit where credit is due. I have disagreed with people on here many times, but have never been banned for not thinking like everyone else. I will always hold on to my individuality and stand by what I say. I can be wrong sometimes no doubt, and I will admit it when I am. But to be banned for disagreeing over something is beyond my comprehension. I have my criticism of the web site sometimes but it is far better the DU. Thanks for hearing my rant.

We ban them too, even when they just "want to talk".

You're too rational for DU, FRiend. They only allow howl-at-the-moon leftists and butt-bandits there.

DU is the electronic version of monkeys throwing feces.

I registered on DU last November or December and I still haven't been outed as a troll. I mostly post "Bush's Fault" to everything but they think I'm being series.

I was banned there the first time the day after the election. I had been a moderator and mole and had gotten up to 2000+ posts. I outted myself and gloated. I have a new mole on there that is once again over 1000 posts and should make mod status soon. What We Are About To Do Here Is What The Good Lord Would Call A Cleansing of the Wicked. Jim Robinson allows a few liberals to post here, just so we have someone to play with and get mad at. And Freepers who have been active posters for several years can say almost anything and not get banned (although the post itself might get deleted.)
But if a newbie shows up and starts posting some liberal crap, the Viking Kitties will make them feel the Wrath of ZOT in a heartbeat.
