Haven't you heard how they are now standing up? They are standing so tall that we can now withdraw 60,000 troops next year. Even John McCain, who has said we need more troops in Iraq, will now agree with Mr. Bush that enough progress is being made to withdraw many of our troops next year. Or will he?

But does it matter if they can stand on their own or not? When did this Administration let reality come between them and their lie of the moment? It appears that Bush is doing a favor for the Republicans running for re-election next year. After all, maintaining power is more important than protecting our troops.
