Been working on Bev's challenge to develop some good sound bites, slogans, memes, whatever.
Some thoughts:
My approach has been to think of the broadest, non-partisan, message. While we here at DU have (and should have) partisan interests in the broader BBV story, as a grass-roots, multi-faceted, activist movement should enbrace all Americans concerned about the validity of their votes.
I'm posting three concepts in the thread. They should NOT be considered as final in terms of design. They are sketches only.

In a way, I'm taking a page from the ?W concept by trying to come up with a strategy that will intitate individual dialog. As with ?W, if a contact reveals a fellow Dem, then dialog regarding more partisan aspects of BBV can follow. But with a simple, non-political baseline, I think we'd have the best chance of reaching
voters as opposed to republicans or democrats, liberals or conservatives.

If I'm off-point, I'm sure someone will let me know.
I'm still struggling with condensing the "paper ballot" and "verified" concepts simply. "No Paper? No Proof." Is the best I've got so far. (Also, I would assume that if these are used in bumperstickers, pins, whatever, that they would include the URL info... which I didn't have handy when I whipped up these samples.
