146. Yeah, definitely they're a case of arrested development. Can be funny,
very funny; but only when they're dealing with the world from the bright-ten-year-old mindset that they're at. (ten year olds living in a basically comfortable and sheltered set-up, that is, who get most or all of their knowledge of the greater world from the media--which they do mock well). They don't do actual politics well; it's beyond them.

They still make me laugh sometimes; but they also seem really dated, a product of the 90's. Ironically, they also make me think of this song:

’cause I’m a 21st century digital boy,
I don’t know how to live but I’ve got a lot of toys,
My daddy’s a lazy middle class intellectual,
My mommy’s on valium, so ineffectual,
Ain’t life a mystery?

I can’t explain it, the things they’re saying to me,
It’s going yayayayayayaya, oh yeah...

At this point I mainly want to say them, in their own language:

"Dude. You really should turn off the TV and go outside sometime."
