19. Massachusetts had strict laws on scanner errors.
The state required individual item pricing (i.e. stickers) until recently and the sticker price had to be honored if the scanner rang up a higher price. Some chains would give you the item for free if it scanned incorrectly. The accuracy of the scanners was quite good.
Trader Joe's is such a great store. If only I could do all my shopping there.
