26. Interesting that they sing Bush "was" right... instead of "is"...
The central theme of the song tends to finger-paint a world view much like a six year old child might. The band's lyrical listing of accomplishments and their respective varying degrees of success and failure tend to only serve the purpose of refueling and, potentially, igniting the passions of a crowd whose members are bereft of self-confidence and mired in doubt. These peoples' leaders have failed them. Their last and only recourse is to madly throw lyrical barbs blithely into the face of innocent passers-by.

That said, I think what's most telling about their condition is how they chose to say "Bush was right" instead of "Bush is right".
