1. Grand jury investigating?
kicking and nominating this post, which is very important.

I've just been told that the San Diego Grand Jury may be investigating the Diebold equipment used in the mayoral election.

A local activist and computer expert asked the Grand Jury to look into the Diebold situation here prior to the election. Witnesses have advised me that Grand Jury members were present at the Registrar's office on election night when the votes were being counted by the central tabulator, so it sounds as though they're taking the complaint seriously.

If anyone has any knowledge about yesterday's election that would be helpful to the Grand Jury, please send me a private message.
