46. Dear Wilma,
Edited on Wed Jul-20-05 08:30 AM by smoogatz
Thanks very much for sending me an email over the internets. I'm sorry to hear that you and your husband are having such difficult times. As you know, my job is hard work--and one of the hardest things about it is having to listen to the sob stories of sad sacks like yourself. It just wears me out sometimes; even more than clearing brush down on my ranch in Crawford, Texas. Down in Crawford, people believe in taking personal responsibility for their problems (unless you've got a few million to contribute to one of my campaigns like Ken Lay and the boys at Enron, in which case I'll do whatever it takes keep your ass out of prison--but that's another story). They also believe in the power of prayer. That's why I'm happy to refer you to one of our faith-based initiators, Billy Ray Kozlowski, who runs the Mega-Church of Christ in a Drive-In not far from you in Muskrat Haunch, Arkansas. Billy Ray and his entire congregation have agreed to pray for you and your husband for fifteen seconds next Sunday, at absolutley no charge to you (although I wouldn't get too used to those food stamps--they're probably gonna get cut off when the next round of tax cuts for my rich buddies goes into effect. Sorry!). I have absolute faith that Billy Ray and his Sunday pray-a-thon is the answer to all of your problems. If it doesn't work, it's probably because you or your husband is unworthy in the eyes of God. In closing, thanks for voting for me. I hope you'll vote for my brother Jeb when he runs in '08. His moral values are pretty much exactly the same as mine.

Lots of luck,

George W Bush
