Hi All,

As I am fairly new to the world of blogs & chats (I have only been here since Nov and for a long time mainly in the election forum), I finally forced myself to do some research on FR.
I have only ventured to their site from links posted here on DU, and I certainly do question their purpose, motives and venom.

From the brief google search I can glean and summarize the group, as well as from experience what was done here in relation to Andy.
There are about a Million hits, among them, interestingly a letter to the FCC from FR regarding 1st Amendment Rights.

Generally, it appears FR is shunned, not only by so-called "liberals" but by other conservative websites.

Their sole purpose is to create trouble, with rumors, gossip and lies.

Here is another link to an article:

These are a handful people, who can only be termed as thugs. It is a congregating place for criminals. These are the kinds of people who burn down churches, these are the people who trapped Dan Rather, these are the people who spread Kerry rumors. These are the people who do Rove's dirty work.

Let's just agressively protect ouselves and our vaious causes from these criminals, and let us not be too consumed with their venom.
