Normally, I'm known around here for throwing gasoline on flame wars, so I thought I'd try a change of pace.

What, exactly, did you hope to accomplish by rattling redneck cages?

At best, there's a one in a thousand chance that you might have caused one of them to think. I find this highly unlikely. More likely, you simply reinforced their opinions of non-rednecks as screaming idiots.

Even more likely, you probably egged them on to further action against the shopkeeper. Why on earth did you involve them?
