49. the Halliburton protest
I am sitting here a day after the protest, very angry, but also very proud of what happened on Wednesday.

We won, the cops lost, more then they will ever know.

The cops were trying to break up the protest, thought we would cut and run. We are made of better stuff then that, we are not cowards the police were.

This attack by the Halliburton Police was planned in advance, I have never seen those big billy clubs here at any of the many protest we have had.

The cops were not wearing their regular police badges but fake ones with only 4 numbers, this took some planning in advance.

They wanted to attack us but not to be able to identify them, their plan didn't work, we have video and pictures.

It must be sad to be one those cops, to have so much hate, that you would attack people like that. This planned attack says much about the policeforce in Houston, it's full of bullies. The look of hate in their eyes, and fear to when we didn't back down. They had undercover cops trying to provoke us but that didn't work. I had an undercover cop get right in my face, yelling at me, I just backed up and walked away.

I came home a different person, something like this changes you.
I have talked to several people who were there and all of us would do it again, if the goal of the police was to stop protest, it didn't work. I am stronger, more determined then ever, I don't like bullies, never did.

We live in corporate owned world now, they can buy the police to do their dirty work.

If there are any Houston Police or should I say Halliburton Police reading this, you have no idea how much damage you have done to the
city's image. I have many email friends around the world, and they knew I was going to the protest, so they emailed me to see if I was OK. This attack on protesters was big news worldwide, my email friends were so disgusted when they saw the pictures and video.

I just wanted to thank all of you who answered this post, thank you so much for your kind words.

This attack on us by the police isn't going to stop us, it just made us stronger.
