The appearance of truth of any sort in the U.S. Congress is always a rare occasion for celebration. So we celebrate today.

But we are also cognizant that a man has had to fight for his good name in a loathsome Star Chamber, where the ghosts of McCarthy and J. Edgar are being channeled by the dwarfish putz Coleman from Minnesota.

Nor let us exonerate the Democratic Party, co-authors of the misery in Iraq, and whose pro-empire web sites (cf. Talking Points Memo) were heard to moan when Galloway won his seat earlier this month.

The U.S. is under a spell woven by both its guilty political parties. Who will break it?

Today we have watched one such man. Thank you, George Galloway.
