Agree with everything you wrote there regarding the link between Detente and Watergate, i miss america. It's the BFEE's major pattern.

JFK wanted no war over Cuba or in Vietnam. Gee. LBJ was president a week when he reversed that national policy. They didn't impeach him, though.
