but apparently you are thinking that religion is so abhorrent that freedom of speech should not apply.

I think that is dangerous to an open society. As they say regarding TV, just turn the channel. Really, I think the wierdo on the street corner actually promotes people away from his cause, so in a way, he is working for you.

Realize of course, that as soon as we start forbidding speech that is objectionable, there will be someone out there who finds our speech objectionable.
