One thing somebody (with more patience than me) should do is collect all the stories of things that went wrong with simple logistics throughout the war. I remember vaguely in spring 2003 stories about water shortages, including one where a wingnut chaplain controlled a tank truck but wouldn't hand any out unless the recipient affirmed that Jesus was his personal lord and savior. There were screwups in mail delivery, laundry, food (including the mess halls with worms), and of course the truck armor that the vendor was ready to provide and wondering why DoD never asked for it...
Yeah, way to support the troops!
Then they'll come home, missing parts of their bodies and/or souls, and have to deal with the Rumsfeldized VA...
