Though the AP still refers to it as a legitimate spontaneous protest by Iraqi citizens.

From the linked article:
"The demonstration overflowed Firdos Square, where protesters pulled down a towering statue of Saddam Hussein two years ago to the day.(AP Photo/Karim Kadim)"

But the REAL truth as admitted by the Pentagon is that this was a STAGED PSYOP!
