The state of Amerika's Unhealth Uncare

Being sick here in AmeriKa only seems to get worse and worse.

Yesterday night I realized that I have a secondary infection that can or cannot be dangerous.

I have calledmy Doctor's phone service - The woman won't let me talk with the Physician on Call because I've not 'become a proper patient' having not needed any real doctoring as I'm gnerally in good health, still, he is my doctor because he takes my insurance.

I have tried calling the hospitals and been told, "If you think it's an emergency, then come in to the emergency room." They are unwilling to listen or even talk of what might be the problem.

I tried to find Ask A Nurse, a service that was in Colorado, there is none available in my state that I could find and they were unwilling to speak with me over the phone because I wasn't in a covered state anymore.

Now, to my knowledge, what I am suffering from is a minor problem that basically comes from my being stubborn and trying to work after having been sick for 14 days, it's my own fault. But calling and asking for some direction on if I should go to the emergency room or wait for the doctor doesn't seem to be a huge issue since I have determined I need to see a physician.

From what I was told for the cost to go to the emergency room (Every single quote was in the thousands of dollars) I have decided to wait for my doctor, but I am concerned.
