26. I don't know that the amount initially invested
esp in the first say five years or so, especially for lower wage earners, will be big enough to have that psychological effect - esp if at that same time they are being hit all over the place in the pocket book. That is based on your same final point - that we tend to deal in the immediate - and if in the immediate I have job insecurity (and bouts of being employed and not being employed).. if there are medical problems and costs with no insurance, if public services are cut to the point where I feel it... then I think that is what will shape folks psych outlook. And the policies quickly spewing out of DC seem to make those situations more likely for more people.
