52. I Have to stick up for the Windsors
At least some of them. Queen Elizabeth was a teenager during the war, and insisted on "doing her bit." And she did -- help me here, people -- I can't remember the name of the organization she was in! Women were drafted, and did various things to supplement support soldiers. I believe "Private Windsor" was a truck driver. She didn't have to do it, but wanted to. Her mother and father pretty much kept up England's morale -- especially Londoners... esp. during the Blitz. The Queen Mum wasn't the nicest person, but she sure as hell did her part during WWII. Buckingham Place was also bombed, and the Queen Mum wouldn't send her daughters to the country. The King tried to get her and the children to leave England, but they wouldn't Various relatives served in the armed forces, too.

Now, The Duke of Windsor was a bit of a stooge, and was rightly sent to the Caribbean to drink and bugger.

Harry should have his snotty little face slapped. There are plenty of British alive that suffered horribly during WWII. I'm not a monarchist by any means, and the Queen is an anachronism, but I'll give credit where credit is due.
