Reply #20: It's their fundamental beliefs in God

Their God hates them, and everyone else. He sends them to hell for being Gay, believing in any other religion, masterbation, etc. He can't handle anyone going to Heaven that deviates from their specific rules. All other religions are sinning against him and can't make it into heaven - that includes poor people in 3rd nations that have never heard of Christ. They're into God punnishment and not happiness. If there is Happiness in God - it's from direct obedience to the stern absentee landlord.

Luckily many Christians have a God that loves everyone, doesn't care if you masterbate, doesn't care if you're gay, doesn't need you to be Christian to get to heaven, etc. They however have a whole different set of fundamental values. Primarily - their god loves them. It's too liberal for the fundamentals to handle.
