You might not agree - The Democrats should let the GOP

try and overturn Roe v. Wade.

Let the American people have exactly what they voted for.


1. If the Democrats obstruct and the GOP is not allowed to act on the abortion issue, the religious right will be even more motivated in the next few elections.

2. If the Democrats let the GOP appoint an anti-abortion judge to the supreme court, and Roe. v. Wade is still allowed to exist, the GOP will have had their chance, and will have failed. The "Christian" base will then be demoralized to the benefit of the Democrats.

3. If they do overturn Roe v. Wade, women who otherwise would vote for the GOP or not vote at all, will be motivated to vote for the Democrats i.e. security moms.

I say let them have at it. Either way they will end up the losers.
