someone here can probably give you server space and ease the burden on your friend's server. It's the kind of imagery that demands and deserves to be seen full-screen, but the artifacting was a problem. If you have higher resolution originals, I think it would be worth the time to create a high res version as well.

If Moviemaker is the cause of the artifacting you might look at the Flash format. These guys http://www.takebackthemedia.com have done some powerful work also.
