155. There were THREE stories in the Charlotte Observer
on computer voting snafus Friday, one took the top half of the front page, then there was another front page on one of the sub-sections then a great article explaing why there were 4000 more votes than voters (which the repukes caught Thursday, which tells me they are watching the computer results like a hawk, ready to pounce if results are not in their favor). It turns out that the early voting results were all downloaded from their respective machines to a central computer and the boe thinks some results were downloaded twice. How's that for a new scheme, download results from a 'certain' precinct into the computer an extra time or too to get the results you need...however since dems swept the commissioners race the repukes were crunching the #'s,which tells me they damn well know all about this...they got the results over-turned, and got a repuke back out in front.
