306. Mrs. Edwards, I send you my most fervent prayers for your healing.
My sister-in-law is a happy, healthy breast cancer survivor; I know a little bit of what your family is going through right now.

I truly do believe that God does not place more upon our shoulders than we can bear. I have come to see you speak twice in person (at a rally in Harrisburg and at a town meeting in Lancaster, PA) and I can sense that you are a very strong person. I know you will emerge from this trial an even stronger person, with even more knowledge and experience that will help you in your work on behalf of those in this country who need help and healing.

Thank you for bringing such an articulate, powerful voice to the Kerry/Edwards campaign this year. You were so impressive in advocating for the administration of your husband and John Kerry. I will always be grateful for the inspiration you gave all of us.

Half of the voters in this country made a terrible mistake on Nov. 2. But the words of the Kerrys, Edwardses and Heinzes have lifted up all of us Democrats! Thank you, and God Bless You!
