112. No. Thanks to minor heroes
At the beginning of the year I was resigned to four more years. Then I heard Howard Dean and thought, "There's a man who's articulate and unafraid". He lost, but Kerry came on. Early on he said something like "I don't need to be lectured on courage by a person like Tom DeLay". Hmm, I thought, we're punching back.

Heroes like those who fought for Howard Dean, John Kerry and the others kept this alive while shirkers like me slunk off in the shadows. Well, I'm on board now, doing things I never did before, contributing money and time. You did it and I salute you.

We win. America wins.
