One form of satire is to take something to a ludicrous extreme with no indication of mockery, as in the essay "A Modest Proposal."

One could easily imagine this parody of Thunderbirds as rightwing children's propaganda, and I'm imagining that's the tack they're taking.

...but I haven't seen it. I'm looking forward to it. If lots of people get mad, you know a nerve has been touched.

I read that they had Bush/Kerry puppets created, but decided not to use them.
