When you speak of the best Democratic president, do you mean one that performed better than other democrats, or one that ranked highest among all presidents that were democrat?

from what i know, the regan, g h w bush, and g w bush all drove the economy into a deficit, and therefore clinton was probably the best in recent times AND was a democrat.

also g w is the best republican president since 2001 ;)
