37. More on this whacko judge...

More on this neanderthal judge from NOW at http://www.capwiz.com/now/issues/alert/?alertid=6079476&type=CO

Background:

George W. Bush has again gone outside the mainstream and nominated a right-wing extremist to the bench, this time for the Eastern District of Arkansas. James Leon Holmes has actively worked against reproductive rights by serving as the president of Arkansas Right to Life, as well as advocating for an amendment to the Arkansas Constitution that would ban abortion throughout the state. He even stated that “the concern for rape victims is a red herring because conceptions from rape occur with approximately the same frequency as snowfall in Miami.”

Furthermore, Holmes wrote that the proper role of women in marriage should be a biblical one, in which a "wife is to subordinate herself to her husband" and "place herself under the authority of the man." He also made it clear that he would block advancements in gay rights: “abortion brought with it artificial contraception on demand with recognition of homosexual relations to follow.”

I want to know which Dems voted for this dangerous creep!
