The government of Mexico will not permit violations of the human and labor rights of Mexicans living in the United States, said Mexican President Vicente Fox Quesada, stressing that, "we will stand beside every Mexican woman and man in this country, we will defend them against the raids being carried out in the state of California." He reaffirmed his commitment to continue to support the Mexicans and Mexican Americans who live and work with dignity and productivity, because they, he said, make a great contribution to the United States economy. "They are loyal, and respectful of this society and this country that has received them."

i say we take israelis example and build a wall on the border. then give all 10 millions illegals here work permits. then we institute criminal penalties for companies who hire illegally and see who will still want to hire them when they have to pay them minimum wage, not slave wage. that pretty much will put all 10 million of them out of work. then we can deport all those that get in trouble with the law. and if senor vicente wants to roll his 'armored divisions' across the border...

the second biggest income in mexican economy is the money illegal immigrants send back to mexico. the third is the money usa sends directly to mexico. it's like an albatros around our neck. isn't albatros a bird?

word of caution though. since our agriculture and construction has been built on slave (mexican) labor now, be prepared to pay three times as much for groceries and landscaping if we actually do anything about illegal immigrants, and that's why no sissy politicians will touch this issue.
