he said that it makes no sense to transfer power to the government that does not have any real power.
what happens if the new iraqi government (who is supposed to represent the iraqi people, who by 79% want america to withdraw immediately) wants to do the x thing, and us wants to do the y thing, who wins the argument in the end?
he said we only have one more shot to do this right, and we have to enlist other countries and do everything possible to make sure this stops being american occupation, and becomes international coalition, so that iraqis don't feel occupied, and bush falls short in his efforts to do that.
