(The coach's Dad.) He's gone now, but he was a teacher at my junior high. I only had him for study hall, but I think he taught social studies, or civics, or government, or whatever they called it. He was a huge man. Tall and fairly round. And the deepest voice you ever heard. I mean he put James Earl Jones in dark shade. wpf. It wasn't a huge school, but still, you could hear him hollering all the way across the school, through a bunch of doors. He was, maybe, my favorite teacher that never (formally) taught me. He did teach me a few things though.

Oh yeah: Everyone wanted to be in his class, because he had an air conditioner. Back then, it was windows only. ;) He bought the air conditioner himself, and plugged it in!)
