I've always had a hard time appreciating anything Military...and this is like all my fears come true.
What I can't help but notice...We tend treat each other this way...(big picture comments)
Look at pornography...all about debasement and dominace, yet so many willingly participate. I think folks who get into this stuff lose track of their moral compasss...you become numb to the images. It becomes more normal.
Combine that with the "might for right" mentality and you have a very dangerous situation.
I wonder if the Iraqi torture will bring increased scrutiny to the US prison system?
