48. Well, that makes you intolerant. Intolerance is not Christian.

and before you start quoting Bible verse, I must say you are a very polite freeper.

The Bible was re-written many times. That is a fact. If you believe in the Bible as absolute truth, then you will not last long here. Why? Because the Bible is a guide, not absolute. But it is, you may say. Then why do you not follow it to the letter, New AND old testament. Pretty hard these days, even Fallwell does not have enough stones to throw at the violators of the Bible.

I am speaking for myself only on this...others may believe differently, practice differently, live differently, and love differently...but they all are loved, no exclusions, no outcasts, no one person is less because of what was translated by men of a different time and agenda.

Contrast that with my fellow "Methodist", the "Christian" in the Whitehouse. No group too broad to divide, no issue too twisted to twist more to serve him and his agenda, this supposed Jesus devotee is anything but a Christian.

Your belief is your own, and the people who share your belief in the absolute of the Bible, make you impossible to speak with. Because you are ALWAYS right. God is on your side. I have stopped trying, because that is what it always comes down to.

Liberals are the true Christians, but we do not trumpet it to the world busking for money for new transmitters.
