I think it is correct to be suspicious.

But, I also think we tend to underestimate how the "will of God" argument plays with a sadly large proportion of population. And I also think that because most of us see it somewhere along a range of stupid to outright terrifying, we tend not to realize just how serious Bush* is about it. And I mean really serious to the point of believing that God will pull him through whatever the "heathens" of the world throw at him for believing such things.

The man is a fanatic and one with an admitted disdain for logic and intellect. I think we probably were told, in large part, what we were intended to hear, but I also think Bush* may just believe it was the right thing.

What I just heard from Woodward scared the hell out of me.
