Wolfie read off Kerry's remarks today on MTP about aWol sending the troops into Iraq lacking equipment, ammo, water etc.

Myers said they sent 'what we had', that the new body armor was in short supply, but that now 'everbody has it'. That's a lie. I found out yesterday that a close relative who deploys there this summer has just started raising the two grand needed for new body armor, etc.

LIAR!

And Myers did almost as poorly when responding to Gen. McCaffrey's comment that tens of thousands more troops are needed. Myers' response was to brag about how cleverly we are squeezing more blood out of the turnips we have.

Christ!
