Remember, there was some suspicious jiggerypokery behind the scenes when Mulroney ousted moderate Tory leader Joe Clark (whom the majority of his party had endorsed).

And didn't Ralph Klein have a personal audience with Dick Cheney a couple of years back?

I agree that this is something we have to watch. It would be foolish to assume that the Bush regime isn't interested in Canada, just because some of their front men project an ignorant image. In a way, that's the perfect cover.
